The Accreditation Center for Quality in Healthcare (Public Association of Surveyors and Consultants in the field of Healthcare Accreditation) is the only accrediting body of medical organizations accredited by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan

In November 2019, as part of the implementation of the State Program for 2016-2019 on the Development of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Densaulyk”, and the strategic plan of the Republican Center for Healthcare Development (hereinafter – RCHD), the third (final) stage of the phased transfer of the accreditation of medical organizations function was completed- the segregation of the Accreditation Center to the non-state sector.
According to the order of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 252 dated October 29, 2019, the Public Association of Surveyors and Consultants in the field of Healthcare Accreditation (hereinafter – the Association) is accredited by the authorized body as an accrediting body based on the minute’s decision of the United Quality Commission of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 17, 2019 No. 75.

The Association is the first organization in the Commonwealth of Independent States, accredited by the International Society for Quality in Healthcare (hereinafter – ISQua) as an accrediting body. The ISQua certificate proves that the internal and external processes of the Association meet the highest international requirements.
The accreditation standards and surveyor training program of the Association are also accredited by ISQua, which testifies to the high level of standards and surveyors conducting accreditation surveys
The members of the Association and staff are certified specialists in the field of accreditation who have been trained in the following international organizations
80% of employees have a master’s degree in foreign universities and Nazarbayev University, 1 employee is a certified surveyor of Accreditation Canada.
In addition, the association’s members and staff have international consulting and auditing experience and are the developers of national accreditation standards that have been endorsed by the International Society for Quality in Health Care, an internationally recognized healthcare quality community
