TRAINING ACCORDING TO ACCREDITATION STANDARDS​

Dear colleagues,

We would like to inform you that the process of recruiting candidates for experts for the year 2024 has been suspended, as the required number of participants has been reached. We express our gratitude to everyone for their interest and active participation.

The external comprehensive evaluation is conducted by the Accreditation Center with the involvement of experts meeting the following criteria:

1. Selection criteria for Physician-experts:
– Higher medical education;
– A total work experience in healthcare organizations of no less than seven years.

2. Nurse-experts:
– Secondary specialized or higher medical education in nursing;
– A total work experience in healthcare organizations of no less than seven years.

3. Administrative experts:
– Higher professional education;
– A total work experience in healthcare organizations of no less than seven years.

Program requirements:

Before starting the training program, it is necessary to familiarize and study the accreditation standards of medical organizations.
When applying for training, it is required to pass a test to check basic knowledge. Only when scoring the threshold score (10 out of 15), the candidate is invited for training.
100% attendance of the training program sessions is required to be eligible for the final testing.
To become an expert, it is necessary to complete 60 hours of training conducted by the Accreditation Center. Then participate in the external comprehensive evaluation of medical organizations (in accreditation) as an observer (trainee-expert).

Expected final outcomes:

– Acquisition of knowledge by participants in applying accreditation principles in healthcare;
– Acquisition of expert skills necessary for accreditation (external comprehensive evaluation) of medical organizations;
– Application of methods and tools necessary for conducting MO accreditation;
– Knowledge of the methodology for preparing medical organizations to conduct self-assessment;
– Knowledge and correct use of the information system (СУКМУ) in conducting accreditation;
– Knowledge of the main trends in the accreditation of medical organizations worldwide;
– Becoming an expert in ECE to conduct the evaluation of compliance with accreditation standards in medical organizations.
